Merrill Old School Trophies, Mayor Norgaard

Good day to all Merrill citizens! I've heard some comments from my wife reading to me from Facebook about memorabilia disappearing. (It was mostly in storage before now.)
Most of the comments are referring to the trophies and memorabilia being offered to families of the people who were involved in the history of Merrill schools.
I'd say if you had a family member from the past who helped achieve a trophy from any sport or activity, you sure are eligible to select one of the trophies to take home as a memento.
If your family or relatives never went to school in Merrill, then you probably don't have a history to worry about disappearing.If you want a memory to preserve, please help yourself to anything suitable to you. Whatever is not picked over will return back to storage until a home is found.I hope those who want to help preserve Merrill's past will be patient until a proper home is found for these objects.
